Is there a way to force a custom view for the Demand [dmn_demand] records when viewed in the Strategic Planning Workspace? For example, we found that the Enterprise Agile Configuration [sn_apw_advanced_eap_configuration] allowed us to force a custom view to the EAP Planning Items (e.g., Epic, Feature, and Story). Is there a similar setting for Demands?
Would creating a Workspace View Rule to force the view be a solution to force the custom view? We tried this approach, but ran into an issue determining if we should use the UX Page Registry for the Alignment Planning Workspace (Portfolio Planning Scope) or Strategic Planning Workspace (Strategic Planning Scope). It looks like the Demand records are opened in Strategic Planning Workspace under the Portfolio Planning Scope. When we try to create the UX View Rules Configuration [sys_ux_view_rules_configuration] for Strategic Planning Workspace, we are forced into the Strategic Planning Scope. The Alignment Planning Workspace uses the Portfolio Planning Scope and that leads us to believe that we need to create the UX Page Registry [sys_ux_page_registry] for Alignment Planning Workspace. However when we try to create it, we get an error that the options for URL path [path] and Admin panel [admin_panel] fields are already in use. It looks like these options are being used by the UX Page Registry entry for the Strategic Planning Workspace.
We are looking for some guidance on how to force a custom view for Demands in Strategic Planning Workspace.
Here are links to resources that I used to create the Workspace View Rule:
