Hide Add Task Button on Project Workspace

Hi There,

is there any way we can hide Add Task button on project workspace. I tried to hide it but its not present in declarative action/ui action or anywhere else.

Hi @nowitsvashu , 
Please open the Project Workspace experience in UI Builder.

You can open the Planning tab

— on this screen, you’ll see the “Add Task” button.

Kindly locate this button component in the UI Builder and set its visibility to hidden so it doesn’t appear on the Project Workspace page.

Please open the SN Task Planner 1 config pane. and In Can create project task field click on the 

In Can create project task field select the Use static Input option.

Uncheck the option and save the page

Though the solution provided by Muhammad Iftikhar is technically right, it is a customization. 

It is advisible to handle this use case through ACL. Please create an ACL(or update and existing ACL)  to not allow create of Project task, thats it, OOB code should honour that ACL and stop showing the new button.

Hi @nowitsvashu to confirm, are you wanting to prevent the creation of tasks only within workspace for these users? These same users should be allowed to create tasks via core UI?
