We are investigating using the KanBan method of Agile and using Visual Task Boards to manage work. Since much of our work is detailed within Stories already built, we'd like to connect stories to tasks on the task board. The wiki has not provided this.

Hi Maryann - You should be able to set this up with a traditional VTB setup.
One possible way, open your stories list (Either from Project > Agile > Stories or SDLC > Stories > Open Stories).
I would then set a filter that is nice and dynamic, something like Product = [Whichever product] and then release > state = current and sprint > state = current.
From here, right click on the column header for State and choose Show Visual Task Board.
This should give you a kanban where you can move stories around in states and also should remove cards/add cards when you activate the next sprint.
However, you may also want to look at Sprint Story Board if you haven't already tried it - Go to a sprint on SDLC and it should be a blue related link at the bottom. It's not a pretty as Visual Task Board but provides extra functions you wouldn't get such as points and creating scrum tasks from the interface.
