IDEA and DEMAND: Separate states for Deferred and Rejected

Our users really want to differentiate between 'not right now' and 'no' when dispositioning ideas and demand by having both Deferred (not right now) and Rejected (no) on ideas and demands.  Currently there is only Accept and Defer functions, and in the SNow world Deferred means rejected.  There's no way to indicate you want to defer work or a decision to a later date.  Very odd.

If you're of a mind, please take a minute to upvote this idea I submitted today.  Thanks.

Hello @alisonh ,

In our implementation we we have 3 states:

Accept: to go further with idea / demand.

Defer: reject temporarily i.e. can be re-opened when becomes relevant.

Reject: reject definitively (end state that can't be re-opened, record is becoming inactive)

Cheers
