Is it possible to edit custom column added to Planing console

Hi,

when adding a custom field from Teamspace Project form into Planning console, while OOTB fields can be edited directly in planning console, the custom field cannot.

Is there a way to fix this, to allow users to edit the custom fields same as majority of the OOTB ones?

Hi @PavelP , the following steps worked for me.

 

  • Open your ServiceNow instance and navigate to the Planning Console configuration.

  • Locate the configuration settings for the Planning Console, where fields are defined.

  • Find the entry for your custom field.

  • Check the properties of the custom field to ensure it is marked as editable.

  • If not, modify the field properties to make it editable.

  • Save the changes and refresh the Planning Console.
