Issue regarding Budget cost not matching into the Project table?

Hello ,

I am facing one issue into the project table where the "Budget Cost" in the financial tab is showing a value "XXXXXXXX" and in the related list "Project Budget" it's  showing some other value "XXXXXXX".

Although both the values should have been same. Can someone help me into this why it is showing different values and how can both the values be matched.

 

Additional info: Project Budget values is coming from "project_funding" table by doing the summation of capital budget +operational budget.

 

And same should also reflect into the Project budget field but its showing different value.

Does any of you cost plan have negative cost.

If total planned cost of a year is negative even though you have budget allocated in `project_funding` it wont be rolled up to project that way there could be mismatch.

This is known issue yet to receive a fix.

Thank you for the reply but none of cost are negative all are positive values.

I hope you're aware of fact that,

SUM of all the items in "Project Budget" related list is = "Budget Cost" in the financial tab.

I rechecked in my personal instances for several projects and demands, created few new projects too, it always shows both the values are same.

In your case, Is this behaviour happening to specific one project or all projects? 

If one project then data sync up issue, if it's happening with all projects then surely some changes done to OOTB behaviour.
