Make Project Planned start date/End date & Duration read only

Hello Team,

 

I have use case , When the project is in Execution phase , i should make 

Planned start date

Planned End date 

Duration fields read only. 

 

Also, i should restrict user from Drag date feature in the Gantt chart

 

suggest ways to do it

  • Navigate to System UI > UI Policies in the ServiceNow platform.
  • Create a new UI Policy on the Project table .
  • Set the condition to State is Execution.
  • In the UI Policy Actions related list, add actions for the following fields and set the Read Only option to True:
    Planned start date
    Planned End date
    Duration
