Making Customer Project as the default Project Class

Hello,

We are wanting to only leverage "Customer Project" project class and not the regular PPM "Project" project class.  Is there a way to hide it or default Customer Project in Project workspace when creating new projects.  Currently when you try to create a new project from Project Workspace it provides a pop up with the first field selection of "Project Class" defaulted to Project and not Customer Project.  Thanks

@MairajA ,

No you cant simply flip a setting to make customer project the default on project workspace or hide the project class oob........because the workspace uses the standard project_class choice list on creation and doesn’t have a built in config for defaulting that field to customer Project..........so most developers handle it by adding logic (like a ui policy/client script on the project create form or a business rule) that sets project_class to customer project when the record is inserted for users who should only use that class, or customize the project workspace form via ui builder to pre populate that value..........
