Management of resource holidays

Hi there,
I would like a suggestion for the tool to be used for the management of resource holidays.
I have tried to use "My calendar" but since I have to enter 24 out of office hours so that the resource is not available on that day, the resource report does not give true data as the resource is available for 16 hours less than the truth.
Do you have any suggestions?
