@Tanu Rani To create project template you can create it from the project as well or you can open the "project_template" table to create new template or edit existing template.

@Tanu Rani

You can create templatest either from projects or from existing template - refer link : https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/tokyo-it-business-management/page/product/project-management/task...

Here is option to edit the project templates, go to Project > Projects > templates

look for template and edit it accordingly.

Hi @Rajesh Singh3,

Editing an existing task via Project > Projects > templates is fairly straight forward.  Adding of new tasks seems more challenging in the absence of a console planner view, as it defaults to the bottom of the tasks list and cannot be moved to its correct "spot".

Do you have advice on how to approach this, please?

Hi @Tanu Rani My experience says that editing directly in the Project templates is a little harder way when it is actually about tasks, dependencies, constraints as you don't have a Gantt Chart view. I would rather recommend to update the Project with all the changes and then create a template from it which is more easier.
