Project Templates and Project Schedules

I have a need to create a Project Template (with numerous quarterly tasks) that spans a 3rd schedule.  In doing so, I am attempting to create the template so it will auto generate the quarterly deliverable dates based on the Planned Start and Planned End Dates of the project...using either the Project Mgmt. Schedule or Fiscal Quarter, if possible.

Does anyone have any insight or thoughts on how I can accomplish this need?  Thanks

My understanding to this is to create a UI action which runs a script to create these task based on planned start date. You can use the templates which acts as a skin but with changes to the plan after the template is applied might change the dates of these tasks, so UI action would be the best approach to apply the fix for the dates based on the planned dates.  Adding more insight to your problem statement will also be more helpful. Currently giving you a solution based on my understanding.
