Project Time fields format

Hi,

We have a requirement to change the Project and Project Task related Time fields format from Date/Time type to Date format. As there are many OOB scripts based on these fields, can you help to suggest on how we can achieve this with minimum customization. Any suggestions on if we can do these changes at UI level on Workspace view without directly changing the field types.

even if you don't change the field type in backend it will still store date/time

on UI you can try to use DOM manipulation to hide the time etc but that's not recommended

DOM won't work in workspace as well

Please inform your customer about this OOTB behavior
