Removing users from the time sheet portal in servicenow

Hi All,

 

I have a requirement for removing two users from the "time sheet portal" . How to achieve this?

Wouldn't removing the role do that?

Actually there are no roles associated with the "time sheet portal" module.

Also the two users are not associated with any of the roles. 

 

On my OOB instance, only users with timecard_user role have access to the time sheet portal. If I remove the role from them and impersonate, I no longer see the time sheet portal. That's because the Application menu is limited to timecard_admin, timecard_user or sn_ppm_read. The override on Time Sheet Portal is not set to true, so if you don't have the role, you don't see the menu (and even with a direct URL, the timesheet portal doesn't open).

Check the roles on the Application Menu 'Time Sheets'. If a user without a role has access to the Time 

Sheet Portal, it's customized on your instance and we need to know what has been customized to help. If those users see the Time Sheet Portal, they have a role that is on the Time Sheets application menu and if there aren't roles there, you need to add them.
