As we convert to using resource assignments, the OOB function to create a resource plan on a resource estimate demand task has not been updated to create a resource assignment from the resource estimate demand task.
Is there a reason for this?
Currently, if I click Create Resource Plan, the Resource Assignment tab on the demand form goes away and is replaced with the Resource Plan tab. I then have to migrate the Resource Plans to Resource Assignments.
Will this get cleaned up in future upgrades? It seems like an oversight, unless I am missing another intended workflow to occur.
