Resource Groups and Group Resource Plans

How are others using resource groups and assigning a group to a resource plan, which is assigned to a task, and managing new resources into the group and updating the resource plan? We can't a good way of maintaining the group to resource plan relationship with new group members.

I would advise using a new resource plan, not updating the existing one.  If you have a new resource on a project that just joined a group, create a user-based resource plan for that new resource.
