Resource Management Workspace not displaying all users

Hello,

I am starting to test the migration from resource plans to resource assignments. When I used the 'Migrate Resource Plans' related link on a couple of projects it completed successfully. However, when I go into the workspace and create a card, my coworker does not show up at all. Here are the conditions for the card:

It is a simple filter where the assignment group is a group my coworker and I are both in. Here is what is shown in the workspace. My coworker Brian is missing however Kevin and I are shown.

Here is the resource assignments related list that shows Brian's assignment is the same group as mine and that the resource status is approved.

Why isn't Brian showing up in my card for the resource management workspace when I have a resource assignment for the same group, the same start and end dates, and the same number of hours for the same project task? What am I missing?

Peter  I have had issues with the Work Type  Filter in the Resource Manager Workspace.   I had my development team open a ticket for it that they said would be fixed in Washington DC Patch 9.   I have had better luck using the Resource Filter by.   The Employee Profile Primary Resource Groups are needed for that.  For yours I would probably get a ticket submitted as it may also be a defect or you may have your team update the plug in.

The Resource Manager Workspace has been installed in Test. When creating a resource card with Filter by Work Type, the filters on Active and Assignment Group work fine. However any other filters (Priority, Task Type, Parent Item.Short Description) do not work as I would expect. Either all the original items show or none, regardless of the data. There is either something wrong with our plug-in, the data or there is a ServiceNOW defect. Mariz has a recording where this was demonstrated.

Hello,

Thank you for your response. Thursday last week I decided to test using that method you described (resource filter by) and it was successful after I went into the Employee Profile and updated the primary resource group. After talking with the interested parties that will be using this workspace, they would only want to see resource assignments based on group so I won't be investigating other items such as priority, task type, etc.

Regards,

Peter
