SAFe to EAP Guided Migration for a Custom Configuration

We are testing the SAFe to EAP Guided Migration Tool and ran into an issue with our Custom Configuration (Portfolio Configuration with Epic - Feature - Story structure).  The documentation for Verify EAP Configuration for migration from SAFe states that the tool is only available for either the Essential SAFe or Portfolio SAFe configurations.  What would be the best practice to migrate SAFe to EAP while utilizing our Custom Configuration?

It looks like you can move the the team structure (Portfolio - Agile Release Train - Scrum Team) from the migrated Portfolio Configuration to your Custom Configuration.  You need to complete the SAFe to EAP Guided Migration first.  Then use the Enterprise Agile Teams [sn_apw_advanced_eap_team] table to remove the entry in the Parent [parent] field, which then allows you to change the Enterprise Agile Configuration [eap_configuration] field to the Custom Configuration.  You need to change these fields for each team (Portfolio, Agile Release Train, and Scrum Team) starting at the level for the Scrum Team.  The Scrum Teams must be done before you can move to the Agile Release Train and then to the Portfolio.  After that is complete, go back to the Enterprise Agile Teams [sn_apw_advanced_eap_team] table and add the correct entry into the Parent [parent] field.
