SAP - ARM (Access Request MANAGEMENT)

Does anyone know about this SAP product?

ARM (Access Request Management),     it's one of a number of products under their GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) suite. I would like to know if there are any ServiceNow integrations available for this?     We are planning on moving forward with ARM so I need to figure out how we're going to integrate it or manage the tools separately.

Any insights are Greatly Appreciated!

Thank You!

VJY

Hi Vito,

There is a list of integrations supplied by ServiceNow here:

List of Available Integrations - ServiceNow Wiki

SAP (ARM) is not present on this list.

However, Customers can always use the embedded capabilities of ServiceNow to integrate with other applications or data sources.

Perhaps someone in the Community has knowledge of relevant integrations carried out, by themselves, or by Partners, which may be helpful to you.

Best Regards

Tony

Hello Vito,

I have a similar requirement and was wondering if / how you have progressed with this ?

We are using our Service-Now instance as the front end to request access to SAP, users request access to a list of roles split by functional area (Finance, OTC, PTP, etc) they can only request from one area as we need to enforce a segregation of duties (SOD).

The request is approved first by the users line manager, then by the SAP Global Process Owner (GPO) before a ticket is assigned to our SAP Security Team who will grant the access.   SOD checks are made by the GPO's and by the security team.

What was missing was a way to track which roles a user had access to, this part I'm hopefully covering with an application access application that I found on SHARE.

The next requirement relates to access to particular SAP transactions - users need a particular transaction that is not contained in an existing role or in a role that would lead to a SOD issue.

So either I continue evolving this existing solution which is getting very heavy / complex or I look at integrating with something like ARM.

I would be interested to hear your views or from anyone else who has managed such situations.

Regards

Tony

Hi Tony,

I know this is an old post and nobody provided you with an answer.

I'm really curious to know if you were able to make any progress on this topic and willing to share your findings.

Very much appreciated.
