How the scenario planning connected to strategic planning workspace. What is the typical sequence and what can be reused from one to other.

This is a great question.

At this point, out of the box, scenario planning scenarios are not reflected in the strategic planning workspace.

However, you will see the scenario planning in the strategic planning workspace in one of the future SPM releases. This is one of the items in our backlog.

The first version is tentatively planned for Aug 2024. In the first version, you will be able to roadmap your items by aligning with your strategy. i.e. you will be able to add items in/out of roadmap and see what goals you are meeting. You will be able to create multiple scenarios and compare them.

As Namita mentioned below, our current scenario planning solution is in a separate application from Strategic Planning Workspace, but you're right in thinking they are tightly connected. Scenario planning is a powerful practice that helps portfolio managers create and share multiple portfolio plan alternatives, plan against constraints, and connect their plans with their expected business outcomes.

That is why we are working on developing a new scenario planning solution to be part of Strategic Planning Workspace. I am the Product Manager who's leading that effort.
