Hi @Phi Nguyen ,
That Task field is a reference field.
Reference fields usually search by the task number (like TASK001234), not by the short description.
So if you type “Upgrade server” (the short description), nothing shows up — because the system isn’t looking at that field.
Change what the field searches by
We can change display value of task from Number to Short description. Then typing “Upgrade server” would work.
This changes how tasks look everywhere in the system, not just in Resource Management Workspace.
Add a filter (reference qualifier)
You can add a rule to the Task field so it also searches short description.
That way, you keep task numbers as the default, but allow text search in this workspace.
Customize the Workspace page
In UI Builder, you can change how the Task lookup works.
This lets you keep the normal behavior elsewhere but make the Workspace smarter.
