I have a ABC domain under TOP, this ABC domains contains 3 companies. I want to set seperate Homepage for ABC domain. When any of the companies under ABC domain logs in they need to see this Homepage.

All these users from ABC domain has "itil" role , i dont have seperate role for these users.

If i add "itil" in read/write roles in Homepage --> Pages then everyone at global domain also will see this page. which shouldnot be case.

I want to set Homepage only to this ABC domain users.

Any help?

As per my knowledge i dont think you can assign for specific grp. Based on role you can assign

Simplest way would be to use roles. Assign a unique(custom) role to the Group and then make the Homepage accesable only to this Role.

To add role restriction, foll the following crumb:

Go to Homepage Admin >> Pages >> Open the Homepage you want to add restrictions >> Add role to the 'Read Roles' field.

Thanks for your response Harish... If i user has "itil" role but the same is available for other domain users as well if i assign then all other domain members homepage will be set as default..right?

I havent worked on Domian separation. I assume it should work. Just try adding role to a group and test

Homepages are not domain aware, those are role aware.

So if we give an ITIL Homepage access, this homepage would be availalbe for rest of the domains as well.

However, data will be controlled and other domain members will not see anything.

As already pointed out, I would prefer to create a new role and assign it to domain ABC ITIL people and restrict the homepage to new Role only.
