How do you deal with group membership changes in relation to resource assignments?
My org is leverages resource management heavily. We've got dozens of active demands & projects, hundreds of groups and dozens of resource plans. We're preparing to adopting resource assignments.
One of the issues we've had to engineer a solution for involves re-casting resource plans every time someone is added to or removed from a group. The current solution works at scale for resource plans but not for resource assignments.
It seems that ServiceNow's solution for resource plans is to manually cancel & recreate resource plans. In my org group members change very frequently (25-50/day) this equates to dozens (& dozens) of resource plans that need to be re-cast.
Before we undertake the re-engineering of our automated re-cast solution, I'm compelled to ask what my SPM colleagues are doing about this.
