The acronym SPM, as used in this community's name, is for Strategic Portfolio Management. There is a separate product/service offering of Service Portfolio Management in ServiceNow, and this is not the same as the old IT Business Management (ITBM) service. ITBM was replaced with Strategic Portfolio Management some time ago, but the two are not exactly the same: Strategic Portfolio Management is a far more comprehensive product, geared to enable organizations to leverage value from their strategic investments. ITBM was far more IT-focused (as its name suggests), and really was about managing demand for and delivery of IT investment.
