Hi Community,
recently I am working with the Strategic Portfolio Workspace. I would like to create a lens, where I can select projects in the beginning in order to assign them to a portfolio plan. In the screenshot you can just select the portfolios, but here I would like to select projects and then create the portfolio plan. Has somebody an idea and can help here?
Kind regards,
Felipe

The next step after selecting the Portfolios you are selecting projects which then generates a Portfolio Plan. I think the terminology can be a bit confusing, but Portfolio Plan (strategic) and Portfolio (execution) are 2 separate components.
If you have in mind specific criteria for projects then you can apply it after selecting the portfolios you're interested in (it's a matter of how records on the execution side are grouped).
Alternatively you could create a separate lens - there is a bit of setup that's needed (haven't done that as so far the OOTB functionality does its job for us), but I think you can obtain what you need without having to go on this route, plus from my understanding of this functionality the logic behind Lens is to start from more generic to more specific and more smaller pieces of work if that makes sense.
Also, maybe give it a go with the Free-Form Roadmaps as it does not use Lenses.

@Felipe17 The basic use of SPW and it's lenses is to support personas like CIO, Portfolio Manager, Product Manager etc.
Looking at your requirement, I would advise you
- To select all Portfolios in your given screen shot
- Click on next and then system would ask to filter out the projects/demands
- This would be the place to filter out your projects/demand and the same should be available on your Plan
Above use case is an example for a persona who owns all the portfolios like CIO of IT or VP IT.
NOTE: SPW provides high level visibility to roadmap, alignment of goals, help prioritising the items etc. In case you have different use case, I would advise to take a different approach. If you are interested to know more about SPW, go through https://www.servicenow.com/community/spm-events/workshop-learn-how-to-implement-strategic-planning-w....
If this helps, request you to mark this as correct answer.
