Checklist: What to review before updating a Service Offering in ServiceNow and best approach for the same

Hi Rahul,

One suggestion from my end, if your service offering has 'Items orderable by subscribers' meaning a catalog item attached to it then all new catalog items will have new service offering name in service offering field of RITM. 

Older RITMs will still have older service offering name.

Thank you for replying Utpal.

but then what about cases/incidents?? - so once we update the service offerings the closed cases will also reflect new offerings impacting the historical data (this i have checked in Dev env).
