Users not available in assignment lookup

Hi, I wonder if I am doing something wrong when allocating resources to a project.  This is what I am doing:

I had users assigned ppm_resource roles, and then imported project from MS Project.

For the tasks that had users assigned in MS Project, resources were assigned. 

However, when I try to manually add users to tasks, I cannot assign them (they are not available in the assignment lookup either).  What could be the issue?

I have run a report to verify the user roles and the users are assigned pps_resource roles.  I have pps_admin, resource/project/portfolio/program_manager roles, so it should not be an issue with privileges too.  

 

Any help would be great as I could not find anything in the documentation or forum regarding this issue.

right click on assigned to and configure dictionary and make sure filter has your role.

Hi Ashutosh,

Can you check any query business rule on user table which is restricting the values?

Also check any reference qualifier on that field.

no, you need admin rights to check.
