Where are SPM Portfolio Planning Scenario approvals stored?

In Portfolio Planning Workspace / Strategic Planning Workspace, where are scenario approval details stored?

The client needs to report:

• Approval date and time.

• Approver.

• Approval comments.

They would also like these details copied to the related Portfolio Plan's Work notes when the scenario is approved.

Could you please confirm:

1. The approval and comments tables/fields.

2. The recommended way to copy the details to portfolio plan Work notes.

Worth working out whether there's an approval record at all before you go hunting for the table.

In Portfolio Planning Workspace, approving a scenario is a direct action by someone holding sn_align_ws.scenario_approver, not an approval request routed through the platform. So my guess is there's no sysapproval_approver row behind it, and your approver and timestamp are really just sys_updated_by and sys_updated_on on whatever record changed. Quickest way to settle it: approve a scenario in a sub-prod instance, then look at sys_audit filtered on tablename starts with sn_align, sorted newest first. That shows you exactly which table and field moved, and whether the Notes text you typed was saved anywhere or just thrown away. I haven't confirmed that last part either way.

1. Is this Portfolio Planning Workspace or the older Portfolio Workbench? They store scenarios quite differently and the names get mixed up a lot.

2. Which release, and which version of the Portfolio Planning and Strategic Planning store apps?

3. If you open the scenario in the classic UI, is there an Approvers related list on it?

4. Does your portfolio plan record actually have work notes? sn_align_ws_portfolio_plan doesn't extend task, so I wouldn't assume the field is there.
