Which feature replaces Unified Backlog in Enterprise Agile Planning?

I have been looking for informations about SPM and it really caught my attention the Unified Backlog feature in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) application. However, I have find in this article in ServiceNow Documentation that this feature is being deprecated in XanadĂș and another article which says that SAFe app must be migrated to Enterprise Agile Planning. I have been trying to find how to reproduce this Unified Backlog inside EAP, but I did not find anything. How can I replace this functionality in EAP? Does it exist some feature that does this job or it has to be custom-coded?

Hi @Alpa82 ,

EAP is currently replacing the SAFe module and eventually the Scrum Programs plugin - which works closely with Agile Dev 2.0.  I should mention that EAP can currently integrate with Agile Dev 2.0.

Our Collaborative Work Management tool will add Agile functionality (targeting 2H of 2025) and could be used as a replacement for Agile Dev 2.0.

I hope that helps,

Scott

Thank you very much @Scott Townsend1 for the confirmation.

Hi @Namita Mishra !

Thanks for sharing the progress. Our organization has already started using the unified backlog. For our part, we are studying EAP to be able to migrate to the new module, so we will be attentive to new developments in the unified backlog in CWM

It is also possible to connect Agile Dev 2.0 to EAP (and continue using the functionality there until CWM adds it) - just an option 🙂

Thanks!

What do you mean by "connect Agile Dev 2.0 to EAP"? Does this mean that we can have a kind of unified backlog in EAP by integrating both tools? How can we do this?
