There are not seen any data when a itil user try to see the result of 'Analysis' tab on Time Sheet Dashboard even though admin user can see the data on the same page. So I want to know which role should be assigned to the itil user for he can see the data of the Time Sheet Dashboard.

Hello,

1.Now what plugin activates these?

Performance Analytics - Content Pack - Project Portfolio Suite Dashboards plugin (com.snc.pps_dashboards). You require Performance Analytics license to use this dashboard.

2.What roles and access needed to use these?

That depends on the data that is being accessed - the same roles are needed to access the data are the ones need to view the data.

User manager Dashboard - Role required: resource_manager, timecard_admin

Time sheet Dashboard -

End user and roles

End user and goal Required role
Portfolio manager: Needs visibility into time sheet activities of resources and actions that should be taken. it_portfolio_manager
Program manager: Needs visibility into time sheet activities of resources and actions that should be taken. it_program_manager
Project manager: Has access to the dashboards. it_project_manager
Time card approver: Needs visibility into time sheet activities of resources and actions that should be taken. timecard_approver
Business stakeholder for PPM: Needs visibility into time sheet activities of resources and actions that should be taken. sn_ppm_read

Project Manager Dashboard - Role required: it_project_manager, timecard_admin

3.What are the benefits/limitations of these?

It provides better analytical data that isn't provided with the typical reporting tool.

4.Will all of these work if we don't have a performance analytics subscription?

No, it will not you need a subscription to the Performance Analytics tool. I would check with the account team, most of the ITBM packages come with it include.

5.I see most of the widgets of these dashboards blank, why?

You will need to run the jobs that pull the data. I wrote a blog post that explains how to do that. Keep in mind not all the data will show because it uses historical data that hasn't been captured yet.  https://community.servicenow.com/community?id=community_blog&sys_id=32d5ffdddbfa6c10190b1ea6689619a9

Here are the links to the documents to each of the Dashboards.

I hope that helps out

Hello Sandeep,

Thanks for your quick answer.

But the user is still not able to see any data on the 'Analysis' of Time Sheet Dashboard with granting all the required roles to that user.

Could be any other clue for this?

Thanks,

Insang Lim
