Why PPW is not visible after installing Strategic Planning?

After Installed Strategic Planning plugin, I am not able to see the Project Portfolio Workspace, instead I am seeing Strategic Planning Workspace. What is the reason for it?

I am having admin privileges on the instance.

I think we experienced an issue with customer some months ago where PPW was first installed, followed by SPW installation. This broke something in the workspace and the portfolio planning was not visible - although it should also be a part of SPW. So help us understand: are you just missing the workspace titled "Portfolio Planning Workspace" (expected behaviour), or are you having an issue where you are not able to create portfolio plans in SPW? (not expected behaviour)

Can you please clarify the following details:

  1. do you have both plugins installed (PPW&SPW) or just one?
  2. are you using a production environment or something else?
  3. Are you able to use a personal development instance to install PPM standard and SPW plugin to compare the functionality with the environment you're working with?

Portfolio Planning Workspace is an old name whereas Strategic Planning Workspace is the latest one. The key difference would be dependent on the licensing (Standard vs Professional).

Standard License: You only get one lens i.e. Project Portfolio Lens

Professional License: Many other OOTB lenses like Product, Value Stream, Goal etc. along with the flexibility to build your own lenses.

If above mentioned details answer your question, request you to mark this as accepted solution.

I am asking that, once we have SPW, PPW won't appear anymore?

I have installed Strategic Planning which is pro version which gives SPW. After I install this PPW disappeared. You are saying that this is expected behavior right? So PPW replaced with SPW? I am using one of the demo instances provided by ServiceNow along with PDI. I mentioned this in the question.
