The "About ServiceNow" page typically appears when you log into your instance for the first time after an upgrade or when a new user logs in. It's designed to provide an overview of the current version, features, and updates.
Why it appears:
- It’s part of the Welcome experience for new or updated instances.
- It may be triggered by a UI policy, login redirect, or homepage configuration.
How to change or remove it:
You can modify this behavior by updating the default homepage or login redirect settings:
✅ Option 1: Change the default homepage
- Go to System UI > Homepage Admin or System Properties > My Homepage.
- Set a different homepage for the user role or group.
- You can also assign a custom homepage via User Preferences.
✅ Option 2: Modify login redirect
- Navigate to System UI > UI Policies or Login Rules.
- Check if there’s a rule redirecting users to the "About ServiceNow" page.
- Disable or modify the rule to redirect to a different page (e.g., a dashboard or portal).
