About the catalog draft feature

I was able to temporarily save catalog items I created using the draft feature.

Is it possible to submit a catalog item using someone else's record saved as a draft?

Normally, only your own draft items are displayed.

No mate, a user can submit it's own drag only even can see other drafts records.

For example, an applicant fills in a form.
If the applicant goes on vacation after saving the draft,
you want the draft data to be available to users in the same group.

Since we are assuming requester rights, we believe we need to use information from before the form is submitted.

That is not a valid reason... The draft is a personal and shouldn't be populated to people in the same group.

Still not a valid case, it's user record and might be there some financial stuff in record which should not show to other.

Let's be practical mate, will you allow anyone to access your draft records in your absence
