Display 2 fields in a reference field

Hello,
I need to display 2 fields like "number" and "name" in the reference field. So, both are searchable and displayed.
How to achieve that?

I potentially have an answer but want to check and confirm.
By adding the following attributes would display the both fields while searching but not when the value is selected:

ref_ac_columns=number;name,ref_auto_completer=AJAXTableCompleter,ref_ac_columns_search=true

This is for my CSA path.

I'm afraid as a display value for a table you can only select one field/value, however in the attributes of the field you can show more columns or make it searchable for being easier for the User (as your are doing)... But finally you'll show only one value/field

You can search on multiple columns on table only 1 field can be marked as Display=true

So once you select record in reference field it will always show that field
