Activate Data Privacy plugin on PDI

Hi community,

Is anyone know how to activate Data Privacy plugin (com.glide.data_privacy) on personal developer instance?

The official documentation mentioned "With Tokyo patch 3 or later, administrators can activate the data privacy plugin (com.glide.data_privacy) for Platform Security if you have the ServiceNow Vault entitlement. For previous releases, contact Customer Service and Support for activation."

I activated Vault Plugin but I can't found anything about data privacy configuration (techniques, policies and jobs).

I want to install it to try how it works before installing it on my client instances.

You need to assign the data_privacy_admin role to your user (takes security admin) and then elevate to data_privacy_admin before you get access to the menus.

Then it is straight forward to create a pollicy, but I have not found out how to schedule the jobs (that might be blocked on purpose).

If you find the way to schedule and test the jobs please let me know 😉

Hi @Jens Damhoej, To schedule a job, you must have the "data_privacy_clone_processor" role. - Elevate Role
