Advice re: Associate Sys Admin > System Admin path

I'm working on the Associate System Admin Career Journey. I'm about 94% done.

For veteran System Admins, I'm wondering what advice would you give to someone entering his/her "rookie year" as an Associate System Admin who wants to become a System Admin.

Hi @smtechwriter2 ,

I'd focus on mastering the core platform fundamentals: tables, ACLs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, flow Designer, etc. Build in personal instances frequently, this gives you a handson approach.

Micro certification is great way to test knowledge and gain hands on skills too.

In all, the best advice, is really to practice , practice and practice. Get yourself a PDI if you dont own one.

All the best of luck on your journey!
