Agent Client Collector Visibility - Uninstalled Software record removal - cmdb_sam_sw_install table

Hello,

There seems to be a few posts regarding this but I can't find any specific information around how software install recorrds are removed from cmdb_sam_sw_install table when ACC-V is being used for software install discovery.

I have seen the article around the [cmdb_running_process] table cleaner and how this is used to delete records via a business rule from the cmdb_sam_sw_install table.

Understanding the inner details of software instal... - ServiceNow Community

I don't think this is correct where ACC-V is being used? I can find information regarding the ACC-V policy to populate the cmdb_sam_sw_install table (which we have) with install records but nothing about how they are removed.

We have been monitoring an endpoint, which was re-imaged but removed installations were still showing up until a day ago when they disappeared.

If someone can point me in the right direction for this?

Thanks,

Richo
