Apply User Criteria to Employee Center Widget?

Good afternoon,

 

I see that user criteria can be applied to widgets on the Service Portal (https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-servicenow-platform/page/build/service-portal/task/widge...), however, I am curious if the same can be done for widgets on the Employee Center (i.e. HRSD portal)?

 

For instance, I see that I can access the instance options via ctrl+right click on the EC page, and I can see the widget's source code in Service Portal > Widget Editor, but it doesn't appear that there is any option/list I can use to apply criteria to the widget.

 

Has anyone applied user criteria to a widget on the Employee Center and, if so, do you mind sharing how you achieved it?

Thanks Brian -- I had activated the plugin, but had missed enabling the system property to use user criteria for portal entitlements -- the issue is resolved now, thank you for leading me down the right path!

@lawrencemgann Can you please give the system property name.
