Can someone explain about what are the important topics to covered for cracking interview? I just had 11 month experience as admin l1 support.

It is tough to say the exact topics, as with 11 months of experience, mainly you should know the basics for SN, i mean to refer to CSA training content along this. Scripting- CS/ BR/ UI action / Flow / Reports are also topics which you should know.

Hi Suganya,

 

Since you are working as L1 Admin so you should focus on all the Concepts. If I will take interview for fresher or under 2 years of experience- I will focus on concepts. If concepts are clear I will select that person and train him/her by other members of the team. So please focus on all Admin activities and concepts - User Management/ SLA/ ITSM / Reports/ Dashboard/ Table Mgmt./ Workflow / Core platform features. Rest it depends on interviewer what he will ask. Better you search Internet few interview questions and prepare accordingly.

the interview will be based on your experince.

 

1. Make sure you have excellent communication

2. Build problem solving skills

3. Have critical thinking ability

4. work a lot on your PDI nearly 3hrs a day.

5. Learn to script and know how to build logics for any problem

6. Build some real time projects and solutions.

7. Try to learn more than 1 modules.

8. Know to do REST / SOAP integrations.

9. Understand how servicenow platform is build and know its best practices.

10. Dont give up learning ! 🙂
