Hi All,
I am working with a developer to give him access to create new applications using Guided Application Creator/Studio in our sub-pro instance. This is the first time we've given a developer access to create apps on our system and I am not clear on what the process would be to move the application and related files/tables created to production.
From what I have read in the documentation, as an admin I can "publish" any new application either to "My Application Repository" related link, or use the "Publish to Update Set" related link when viewing an application record from Application Manager. My question is, let's say the developer creates a scoped app along with a new flow and a new table -- is everything (the application, any new flows, new tables for the application) all captured when I publish an application with either option? Does the publish process change at all if the developer creates a new application in the global scope?
This is new to me so please do share the steps to publish an application and related files and tables to prod (from sub-prod). Any tips would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Chris

The publish to update set is a supported feature, and it will capture "everything" that is in that application. Data is included if the KB is followed, and the link on that KB is followed. If not, then create a Support Case so a Support Engineer can review.

Yes, any "configuration" will be captured. If you do not get expected results, then you should create a Support Case.
I worked in that role for 7 years and on the support team that supports the feature here.
