@kddevi Navigate to Tables module, create a table, extend it from Task and check auto number checkbox, Set prefix to CREQ and number to 7 digits. See screenshot for details.

May I know you want to create custom in global scope or under scoped application. In both the table Name will be different. Under global scope it will be u_ or in scope it will be x_.
