Tips for the CSA Exam (Certified System Administrator)

CSA is the first and foundational exam in your ServiceNow journey. Here are some tips to help you prepare effectively:

• Study the training material thoroughly – Go through it line by line, word by word, at least 2–3 times.

• Practice the labs multiple times – Do each lab 3–4 times. Don’t just complete them; carefully read and understand the instructions as well.

• Follow the official eBook – Review it thoroughly at least 2–3 times to reinforce your understanding.

• Consider supplementary courses – Some candidates have found Udemy courses helpful for additional practice and clarity.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Entry/Base level certification for ServiceNow career path. 

1. Complete the Course end-to-end by doing all the lab exercises as well. 

2. Do watchout each topic videos which are available contents in the YouTube.

2. Read the eBook 2-3 times and note down the important points for revision. 

3. Go through the CSA Certification Blueprint - Certified System Administrator (CSA) Mainline Exam Blueprint - ServiceNow University

4. Prepare some questions and attempt some mocks exams.

Thanks for your message. It was very helpful. Please, are there lab exercises in the exam?

Hi @femifeel12,

No lab exercises will be there in the exam, but whatever you have been doing in the labs based on those questions will come as sample questions present in the CSA exam blueprint and also few multiple select answer questions will be asked. Please attempt some mocks exams.
