Eligibility for CSA Voucher - What is this and what does it mean?

I'm about to start the ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals on Demand course. I see that after completing I will be eligible for a CSA Voucher. What does this mean?

A voucher is a written document that allows the holder a discount or an exchange of services or goods.

Does this Voucher cover the cost of the CSA Exam? If not, what it the point of a CSA Voucher? No-one can tell me, and I cannot find an answer anywhere.

I was made redundant a year ago, and the ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals On Demand course is costing 300USD. To pay for the CSA exam aswell will definitely cause me in financial strain.

CSA is 2 steps

1. Training: Yes, it is mandatory for anyone or everyone to complete this training. Now question about fee. 

If you are working with any ServiceNow partner company, then you can get this training free of cost ( Your company already has an agreement with SN) , if not then you need to pay USD 300 plus taxes.

2. Voucher : After completing training , you will get an email to claim a voucher and the same condition applied. Voucher cost in also costs USD 300 plus taxes.

Total $600 plus taxes if you are not working with a partner company.

A voucher means a discount, or may be exchanged for goods or services, so what is THIS voucher? What does it do? What does it entitle me to? Noone can explain what this is.

1. The voucher is a generic code that you will be able to claim post training completion. Hence, you need a voucher to to book the exam. No voucher = no exam. The purpose of the voucher is, that the exam is book at a company that is called Kryterion. You can book your exam in exchange for the voucher.

2. It really depends on the company you're working with. If the company is a partner or not. But for non-partners, the cost for the exam is 300USD.
