I'm about to start the ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals on Demand course. I see that after completing I will be eligible for a CSA Voucher. What does this mean?
A voucher is a written document that allows the holder a discount or an exchange of services or goods.
Does this Voucher cover the cost of the CSA Exam? If not, what it the point of a CSA Voucher? No-one can tell me, and I cannot find an answer anywhere.
I was made redundant a year ago, and the ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals On Demand course is costing 300USD. To pay for the CSA exam aswell will definitely cause me in financial strain.
Thanks in advance

Wow, yeah, the wording around accessing the CSA exam after taking the on-demand Service Now Fundamentals course is very confusing!
In the ServiceNow Credentialing Guide, under the Voucher Distribution section, it states candidates must:
- Successfully complete the voucher issuing on-demand or simulator course to *purchase a voucher. View your cost from the My Voucher tab in Now Learning. There is no *free voucher for on-demand or simulator training.
It does appear that you not only have to purchase the access to the on-demand course, but the voucher which enables you to sit for the exam once the course is completed as well.
It's a shame this isn't spelled out more explicitly, as I was also under the impression that completing the $300 course would provide the CSA exam voucher, not simply the access to purchase it. A surprise doubling of the cost of a certification is incredibly frustrating and disheartening for a lot of people right now.
