Hi All:
We use the fx_curreny table to convert the local currencies to EUR then to USD. However, we have found that the fx_curreny nightly feed only brings in some currencies into the system. For example, Argentina has an exchange rate of .000028 to 1 EURO, and the nightly feed does not create a new entry into the table. This is causing an issue as we do not have a current conversion rate for Argentina or other LATAM countries. Has anyone found a way to pull currencies directly from the countries to USD rather than going through the euro to USD?
Side Note: this process is for a catalog item to allow local IT teams to submit for IT dollars in their local currency and then convert it to USD for the US approval team.

Hi @Jessica Pelphre ,
You need to check nightly feed source , if that source has option to send rate in USD.
As per my understanding, daily feed is giving local to EURO and EURO to USD rate, then local process is converting local to USD using that source data.
Check with the FX team, who is providing that daily feed.
-Thanks,

When it comes to exchange rates, it depends on the timing. Currency markets can be unpredictable, so monitoring trends and fluctuations is always a good idea. If you're dealing with payments for things like Dubai real estate, staying updated is especially important since rates can shift quickly. I like using Currency payments Dubai Real Estate to make the process smoother. It’s easier to handle payments in the correct currency, and you avoid any surprises with conversion fees. In my experience, working with a trusted payment provider that handles these things helps take some of the guesswork out of it. But overall, stay alert and do a little research before making any big transfers.
