I have a requirement, where when catalog request is submitted by selecting request type option A then request immediately auto close after submission of the request and send a notification and if catalog request is submitted with Option B then assigned to an assignment group

You can use flow designer to close and then use Notification action to send the email,. flow designer is low code and easy and quick.

Hi @akankshak15 ,
You can follow below steps.
- Create one closer notification to send when request got closed.
- Create a Flow and build the condition like
- If Option is A
- Close the RITM and Request (Use Update Record activity)
- Send Notification which you had created in step 1.
- If Option is B
- Use update record activity and update the assignment group.
- If Option is A
