Fields from KB Article Template are not reflecting on new kb article.

Hey guys,

 

I created a new article template(Handbook) and added some fields in it. Later I created a kb article using the template which turned out to be fine. But later using form layout we removed few article template fields say Field A and Field B from kb article.

But now if someone is trying to create new article using the new template, the fields i removed Field A and B from my kb article are also removed from other kb articles that are being created.

 

Is it default behavior?

When you say you have removed fields did you delete them or simply remove them from the form layout?
