How do I display the Activity Stream in Knowledge Articles for users?

Hi, I would like the Activity Stream to be displayed at the bottom of every Knowledge Article when a user views the article.  I have added the Activities field to the Knowledge form, however, the Activities are only displayed when editing the article, not when viewing the article.  Does anyone know what is needed to have the Activity Stream displayed in the article when it is viewed?

Note: In Edit, the Activity Stream is displayed, so auditing is active on the table.

Note: I added 'Activities (filtered)' to the Default View on the Knowledge Form.

Thank you!

Hi,

I don't think this is possible, atleast not without some major customizations.

When the article is viewed, by a user (not a fulfiller), it's showing details available on the record itself, granted by ACLs.

But when viewing the article in edit-mode (fulfillers only) it can also show the activity stream, which actually is records in another table, and not data on the current record itself.

We are considering building something like this to track changes to KB articles. A previous admin put in a rich text field and titled it "Changes Made". The lack of time stamps, automatic user information and the ability to delete the notes makes for a pretty iffy solution. A working activity stream would be ideal.

How did this work out?
