Welcome to servicenow,

cetrts - as a begineer always choose CSA, this teaches you quite a lot about servicenow fundamentals and admin. then you will know what to choose after that.

Get yourself a PDI, try getting a a mentor and start building stuff, pls font stop at theory.

For fresher try learning ITSM first and then if you can learn GRC or Secops that's crazy about of opportunities with good pay.

It's good that you're a CS major. I've just accepted my first role as a ServiceNow developer and just before that I spent the last year as a senior ServiceNow headhunter.

I poached and placed architects up to directors. The main thing that stood out to me over and over during that time is that ServiceNow Partners and end-users all want admins, developers, and architects who are really technically capable. All of them still put candidates through technical screens. Judging their ability to hand-write JS. Particularly client and server-side scripts.

Start by pursuing the CSA (Certified System Administrator) but practice your coding skills along the way. You will read everywhere online that in the age of AI all you need is prompting skills. I can tell you from personal experience, having a good relationship with many Elite ServiceNow Partners, that coding skills are still tested and required.
