Hi,
How can we disable an auto-upgrading of a SNOW instance? Also, is there a way to downgrade an instance from Tokyo to San Diego ?
We have a SNOW instance that got auto-upgraded to Tokyo release while our Apps were certified on San Diego release and so, 1. we want to disable auto-upgrade, 2. downgrade the instance back to San Diego (what are our option, downgrade or reinstall?)
Thanks,

Hi,
You cant downgrade the version once converted to the new version. If you want then you should request a new instance and drop the existing instance but it's not the best practice.
The version upgrade is happening with the help of Hi ticket. The request is created by the ServiceNow team. If you are having an account you will receive a notification for a version upgrade ticket else you should manually check the Hi Portal and change the date if you don't want an upgrade to the new version (Provide the business justification to change the window)
Suresh.

You can delay a scheduled upgrade, but not cancel it. You do that as ersurehbe states. Customers must stay current for support. Some may be allowed to be two releases behind, others only one release behind. Now that Utah is out, San Diego and earlier instances need upgrading.
