Hi @Gajapathip

As a ServiceNow trainer, I’m happy to share my thoughts on this. While a career gap can be a challenge, if you build your skills and prove yourself during the interview, it won’t be a blocker anymore. To start, you can pursue the CSA certification by following the career journey available on ServiceNow University.

This journey will help you build a strong foundation in the ServiceNow platform. Once you complete it, you’ll be better prepared.

Employers typically look for professionals with experience across multiple modules, so it’s important to broaden your knowledge and add more products to your portfolio. Consider focusing on areas like ITSM, GRC, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.

Currently, the training is free, which is a great opportunity. However, the real challenge is gaining hands-on experience. The ServiceNow community is an excellent place to begin—dedicate at least 1-2 hours daily to engage with the community by reading questions and contributing answers. This will help you improve your skills and build confidence over time.

If you’re aiming to become a developer, mastering scripting is essential. Developer.servicenow.com offers plenty of courses and exercises to practice and strengthen your scripting skills, helping you build a solid portfolio.

You can start with the CSA certification and then decide your path—whether development, Business Analyst, Change Manager, or Project Manager. With a strong foundation, you’ll have the flexibility to pursue any domain you choose.
